We are a team of associated creative trainers, facilitators and arts practitioners. All with many years of successful work in the arts and experience in facilitating learning. We want to share the unique and valuable processes that we use in the arts with individuals, businesses, creative partners and educational organisations. We believe in the value of the arts for all.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and this privacy policy applies to Act Now’s website and day-to-day activities and governs data collection and publicity e.g. Photographs/videos and usage i.e. on our websites and social media webpages.

Why do we collect and keep personal information?

We collect and use your personal information to enable us to provide education and training to our customers and clients; to promote our services; to maintain our own accounts and records; to support and manage our Associates.

We collect information about you when you voluntarily enquire/and sign up to our services as follows:

Enquiry- if you choose to make an enquiry about our services, we collect the following personally identifiable information:

  • Name
  • E-mail address
  • Telephone Number

The lawful basis for processing your information is by contract or your consent depending on the nature of your enquiry and your information is not shared with anyone outside our company.

Registration for training - if you choose to register for training, we collect some, or all, of the following personally identifiable information:

  • Salutation and name
  • Job title
  • E-mail address(es)
  • Telephone number(s)
  • Social media name(s)
  • Organisation name, address details and telephone number
  • Invoice contact name, e-mail address, address details and telephone number

The lawful basis for processing your information is by contract.

Your name, e-mail address, job title and organisation details are shared with any other partners (as indicated in the contract for the training) in the interests of the partnership.

Your name and organisation name are shared with training venues for Health and Safety purposes only.

Booking training for your organisation - if you choose to book training for your organisation we collect some, or all, of the following personally identifiable information:

  • Salutation and name
  • Job title
  • E-mail address(es)
  • Telephone number(s)
  • Social media name(s)
  • Organisation name, address details and telephone number
  • Invoice contact name, e-mail address, address details and telephone number

General data collection - we collect anonymous demographic information, which is not unique to you, such as your time zone. We collect photographs/videos and anonymous favorable feedback from our training events for future marketing purposes.

How will we use the information about you?

We collect information about you to deliver the services you have requested and to inform you of other services available from us. We also publish photographs and favorable feedback taken from our training on our website and in our social media pages.

We may share your information with trusted partners to help us deliver the service you have requested or to provide IT technical support. All such partners are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to us and they are contractually required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.

We do not share your information for marketing purposes with other companies.

We do not collect sensitive personal information such as race, religion, or political affiliations.

We will disclose your personal information, without notice, only if required to do so by law or in the good faith and belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on Act Now; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of Act Now; and, (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of Act Now and, or the public.

We would like to send you information about services of ours which may be of interest to you. If you have consented to receive marketing, you may opt out at any time.

Retention of your personal information

We keep your personal information for a minimum of 6 years to meet our statutory requirements. Unless you ask for your information to be removed once those requirements have been met, we will keep your information as a historical company record for up to 40 years.
